Our sweet boy had quite a rough day on December 1st. The day started off at his 2 month check up at 8am. His stats are 50-75 percentile across the board in every category. The doc said he is very well proportioned! He got 3 shots. At noon our little man had an appointment at the hospital for some testing. Remember how I said that during an ultrasound (when he was still in the womb) that he had fluid in his kidneys?? Well, this appointment was to check how well is kidneys are functioning and to see if he would need surgery. For the testing he had to get an IV and a catheter. I made sure Darren was with me. I couldn't have done it alone. They weren't able to get a vein the first time and had to try again on his other hand. He was screaming bloody murder. It was terrible, but we got through it. He slept great that night, poor thing. Long story short, they found out that the problem was much different than they expected. Apparently, one of his kidneys is doing 94% of the work while the other one is only doing 6% of the work. All in all, he basically only has one functioning kidney. Scary?? A little. Good news is that the good kidney has doubled in size because his little body has recognized that the other kidney isn't working and is taking over for both. The body really is a MIRACLE. He will live a totally normal life! Just that there will be no motocross or crazy sports for this little guy. Good news is that he doesn't need surgery! We are SO grateful for prayers, fasting, and faith.
Our beautiful Christmas tree! (Thanks mom and dad for the giving us this as a Christmas present, it's beautiful!) Don't mind the baby lotion and Diet Coke.
Our first night out without Jase. We went to Firehouse Subs with Shea and Scott and then to a musical production with my parents, Villas, and my grandparents. Kinda a bad pic, but it's all we got. Very, very fun! (Thanks to Grandma Dori and Papa Rowan for babysitting)
Our beautiful boy. I can't get enough of him! We are obsessed! You never know how much you can love a child until you have one. It's instant love. He is truly a gift.

Poor baby Jase! That first picture of him is seriously one of the saddest things I have ever seen. I'm so glad everything worked out and that he doesn't need surgery! He is SOOOOO adorable! Can't wait to see him later this month!
Love baby Jase and so glad he's going to be okay! Londy misses him!
